Hi, my name is Guanxuan (Grayson) Jiang, and I am a first-year PhD Student in the Computational Media and Arts Thrust at the Information Hub, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). I am supervised by Prof. Pan Hui and co-supervised by Prof. Yuyang Wang . During my MPhil period, my supervisors are Prof. Pan Hui and Prof. Fugee Tsung.

Currently, my research interests lie at the intersection of Human-centered Computing, Ubiquitous Computing, Multi-modality Sensing, Behavoir Modeling & Analysis and Extended Reality. More specifically, my research interest focuses on advancing our understanding of the interplay between humans, intelligent systems and real-world environments in which they interact. It primarily unfolds along two complementary reinforcing directions. (1) I model user intention and behavior from human-centered multimodal data to inform the design of more pervasive computational interactions. (2) Building on this understanding of human–system interaction, I develop advanced computational methods and frameworks to systematically address challenges that arise during interaction.

Previously, I completed my BSc. (Hons) in Computer Science at University of Sheffield and Chinese University of Hong Kong. I also spent time at Peking Univerisity and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
